Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Bring from a system without character limits, so I took no notes. I remember it being weak flavored and not fulfilling the smell’s promise.

With the exception of looks and palate, I can sum this beer up with the word bland.

12oz bottle. Puors dark orange with medium off white head. Good lacing mostly lasting foam. Aroma is malty bread, floral hops, caramel and a bit of spicies. Malty sweet flavor. Little bitterness in th end. Overall well balanced. Medium body and medium carbonation. Nothing special but still enjoyable beer.

Pleasantly surprised to find this in Tesco, Handforth Dean. Dark gold with healthy medium white head. Aroma is a malty biscuit hop affair. More malts in the flavour with hops, citrus note. Very light hop bitterness, if you’re after a hoppy beer this isn’t the one. Maybe I was just in the mood for this but I found it clean, refreshing and tasty. Quite enjoyed this.

Bottle from Ricoh Tesco. Red gold lacing generously. Sweet, slightly buttery mandarin cheesecake and floral hop aroma. Soft, honeyed, floral; balanced malt and hops, a few tired papery and pencilly notes showing. Biscuit linger. Lacks a bit of hop freshness, but it’s probably been cooking in a shipping container for a couple of weeks. Pleasant sipping.

355ml bottle. Clear, effervescent copper with a medium off-white head. Spicy, floral hops on the nose with some caramel fruit and malt notes to balance. Grapefruit citrus flavours with some malty sweetness before and after. Medium body with the right amount of carbonation that it’s refreshing and easy drinking and with a decent length finish. Seemed a touch raw at times and lacking something somewhere, but I can’t put my finger on it. Nice enough anyway.

Bottle from Tesco’s Watford. Copper coloured pour with small head. Hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, malty, bitter. Pretty bland to be honest.

50 cl draft. Clear copper body with small off-white head. Flavour is malt and plenty of hops.
