Commercial Description:
Dry Hopped with a load of Cascade hops grown in the Pacific Northwest. Doggie Style has enough hop character to satisfy hop-heads, but isn’t overpoweringly hoppy. It’s brilliant amber-copper color and pleasant malt flavor comes from the addition of Carastan malts.

Too much hops for my liking. Their IPA is great, but this one drops the ball in my opinion.

Another Pale Ale that follows the trend of big hops in the Pale. If you like you pales hoppy this one is for you. Not OVER hopped but still has a good citrus taste. Crisp and very nice.

355 ml bottle. Finland. Clear copper colour with small off-white head. Hoppy fruity (citrus) aroma. Smooth bitter hoppy (mild pine/resin) flavour with some caramel sweetness. Mild hoppy aftertaste. Quite balanced, easy-to-drink APA.

Nice clean bronze colour, no head tho! Well, none apart from the few lonely bubbles floating aimlessly around atop the beer as I sup! Nice hoppy/citrus fruit aroma with hints of malt showing too. The palate disappoints slightly, typical, but unexciting, a bit one dimesional if you like. Good hoppy brew, but nowt more than average overall I’m afraid! I loved the label tho! Shame I couldn’t give points for that, it reminded me of the illustrations Mr Steadman did for Oddbins price lists a few years ago.

Bottle, 355ml. A copper colour with a small head. A malty aroma with hints of cardboard. Taste is fairly bitter with some hop, barley and caramel notes. A fair amount of spice too. A tasty brew.

Tasted 12/08/2009. Beerstore.co.nz. Another really well made but slightly tired pale ale... it’s been a week full of them for me. Deep golden colour indicates the solid malt character upon which a tired citrus and spice hop character flies. Bitterness still there but vitality of this pale has all but gone.
