Flying Dog Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale

An orange beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet with lots of citrus as well as some hops. The flavor is somewhat weird - but OK - it is malty with notes of malt, straw, grass, and citrus giving it a slight sourness, leading to a dry hoppy end.

Amber coloured. Huge grapefruit aroma. Malty, but with pleasant light mouthfeel and long bitter grapefruit finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours amber golden with an ever so slight haze and an off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Lovely citrusy hop aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly caramelish with notes of citrus. Short, dry finish, but not overly bitter. 220406

Bright fiery amber. Inch-thick head. Earthy aroma (lots of Cascade, how pedestrian it tastes these days!), with a hint of pear and more than a hint of iodine. This iodine pokes through on the palate much more than I’d like before being washed away with woody Cascades, earthy/caramelly malts and maybe the odd ester or two. Functional, standard example.

Bottle. Orange colour with a white head. Light floral hop aroma and a sweet malty, floral hop taste. Medium body with a dry finish.
