| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 17, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a glowing clear a slightly reddish orange with a small what fizzy head. Nice aroma for a Marzen, some malt depth for sure, caramel and munich malt, lightly spicy, rich like cinnamon, light hay. Flavor of fresh wort, very malty, again very nice depth, some hay and spiciness with a nice little alcohol bite in the quick finish. Decent amount of unexpected bitterness. Medium/light bodied, very drinkable, great mix of crisp and fluffy carbonation, somehow avoids being the least bit sticky. Great Marzen! Strykzone (1504), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Aroma of grain and malt with a bit of spice. Flavor is pretty much the same. Not enough of those Fall spice flavors hold this beer back. spkevin (76), Doetinchem, Netherlands
