12oz bottle. Pours a glowing clear a slightly reddish orange with a small what fizzy head. Nice aroma for a Marzen, some malt depth for sure, caramel and munich malt, lightly spicy, rich like cinnamon, light hay. Flavor of fresh wort, very malty, again very nice depth, some hay and spiciness with a nice little alcohol bite in the quick finish. Decent amount of unexpected bitterness. Medium/light bodied, very drinkable, great mix of crisp and fluffy carbonation, somehow avoids being the least bit sticky. Great Marzen!

Pour is a dark copper color with a one finger light tan head. Aroma of grain and malt with a bit of spice. Flavor is pretty much the same. Not enough of those Fall spice flavors hold this beer back.

bottle @ home. Didn’t expect to ran into a Flying Dog bottle at the local liquor store. Very strong aroma with hints of syrup. The taste is also syrupy. Very good beer. Enjoyed every bottle!

Bottle from Bellingers Jet Garage, Grove Near Wantage, Oxon consumed 26-07-09 Pours amber with white head. Aroma is a bit barleysih but there is some sweetness and malt. Taste is once again sweetish, caramel, malt, nice and chewy, easy drinking smooth beer, tasty stuff. A7 A3 F7 P3 Ov14 3.5
