Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

Overall Impression: A decent example of the Octoberfest style. Nothing too over the top exciting about this one, but it is drinkable and fits the season.

Dark amber with a small white head. Sweet aroma and a very sweet taste with malts dominating. Hardly any bitterness until the aftertaste, which also has quite a bit of alcohol. Just OK.

This poured a clear amber color with a normal sized white head. Aroma was thick and malty and bready as well. Flavor was malty, bready, some caraml hints too. Nothing special but I didnt expect much from this style.

355ml bottle. BB 07.08.09. It’s a Marzen ale apparently? Hmmm... Attractive looking amber body with smooth, creamy beige head that clings to the side. Particularly nutty malt aroma. Plenty of caramel and toffee, subtle roastiness, cereally grain, vanilla and hint of floral hop. Smooth full body, carbonation is moderate, creamy texture coats mouth with a slight lingering bitter dry note. Malt drives the body; plenty of sweet biscuit, caramel, roasted nuts, subtle bitter orange and spice. Finishes with a moderate balancing bitterness and bready dryness. A tasty "ale" indeed. I quite enjoy this style when it’s made with a nice robust malt body, and this one certainly delivers. Nice!

Poured a nice clear amber with a faintly off white head. Roasted malt aroma with a noticeable flavor of caramel and malt; a smooth finish

pours a rich caramel color. The head is offwhite and shortlived with moderate lacing. Lots of malt aroma. Lots of texture on the palate. Very enjoyable with good sweet maltiness and a good balanced finish.

Very nice red pour with a small off white head. Aroma of yeast and malts. very warm. Great flavor off caramel, toffee and a hint of chocolate. Slightly sweet and a clean finish. the more I have from this brewer the more I become a fan.
