Nov 1, 2008 I have to pull this one out of the blurry memory banks from last night. Had a dark amber orange color. Rich on malt and spice. Packed more of a punch then some of the traditional Octoberfest. More of an American Marzen, I guess.

Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. A clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Malt, caramel, some fruityness and a wee scent of alcohol in the aroma. It might be something else, but at least it felt like alcohol. Caramel-malty flavor with some roasted malt, and a touch of beef-stock and fruity hops. Some bitterness and resin in the finish, with some sweet caramel. Medium to full body, smooth. Quite nice, a nice märzen, but nothing more. (080829)

Oct 28, 2008 Bottled: its...ok. Pours an amber color with full white head. Smells of malts and tastes of tons of malts. Just ok, not to crazy about it. It leaves a copper taste in the mouth.

Oct 27, 2008 Poured a dark amber color with minimal white head. Aroma is some caramel and malt. Aroma is more of the same with some hop bitterness thrown in. Pretty bland.
