Oct 15, 2008 Fair rusty brown color. Faint cereal aromas, but hardly anything on the nose. Sweet front end of the palate with a woody, wet finish. Flavors are outdoorsy -- toast and a slight bitterness. Not rich, as promised, but malty and muddled.

Oct 5, 2008 Deep amber appearance with an average size, off white head and little lacing. Sweet, toffeeish aroma with a touch of cookie dough. Caramel malts dominate the taste, but the hops add decent enough balance so the flavor does not become too slick or cloying. Results in a smooth, medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish.
