Amber medium head. Slight hoppy nose. A bit of a caramel taste with a hops finish. Pretty decent marzen.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber with a half finger beige head and minimal lacing. Nose is caramel malt and nuts. Taste is Taste is caramel, some roasted malt and a mild hop finish. Medium mouth feel. Not bad.

The pour was a rich, clear amber color with an off-white head that produced minimal lacing. The aroma was very malt forward with caramel, spice and light hops coming through. The flavor was malt, caramel and spice with a light bit of pepper. Mouthfeel was fine, finish wasn’t great, kind of long. An American version of what is typically a more mild beer to be sure.

355 ml bottle at home. Clear amber color, disappering off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt. Flavor is malty with sweetness and some hoppy bitterness - and does not live up to the aroma. A bit thin and watery.

12oz bottle: Pours a nice amber color with tan head. Not much aroma...some malt and hint of caramel and nutmeg. Initial flavor of toasted malt but not much else. Finishes bready and slightly dry but without the lingering bite. Nice carbonation. Wasn’t impressed with the initial flavor but it has a pleasant finish. Preferred this one over the Bell’s I tried the same night.

12oz bottle. pors an ambe rcopper color with a thin off white head with little lacing. Sweet malty nose. Sweet malty flavor with notes of spice, caramel, and floral earth in the finish. Light to mead body, mild carb, light syrupy texture, and a sweet dry finish. A tad sweet and a bit off of the Marzen style for my taste, but in general it’s OK.

Pours amber with a yellowish head that dissapates almost immediately. Aroma is malty, with notes of spice, caramel, and straw. Taste is bitter, with malts, spice, and some hops. Taste is not very inviting. Spice flavors are a tad too overpowering, which hurt the taste. Dissapointing.
