| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Bright amber with a white head. This looked beautiful. Aroma developed a strong caramel, almost honey, sweetness. Sweet, spicy taste with a curious and very attractive creaminess. Mid bitter finish. I’m not particularly familiar with the style, but I liked this beer a lot. fonefan (11817), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Light amber beer with a big but disappearing off-white head. Bready malt aroma, with a hint of spicy/herbal hops - very German despite its mad Colorado origin. Very sweet and bready flavour, with a very bitter finish that saves the drinkability. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Poured dark amber with a large off- white head, good amount of lacing. Aroma is good, malty.
Taste is dark malts almost burned they are so toasty and rich. Hops are there but are slightly subdued compared to the big malt taste.
Palate is a bit more watery than average.
Overall a fine brew. Well recommended. popkow (113), New York, New York, USA
