Feb 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear amber (into a rogue pint glass) with a solid white head. Aroma is very malty. Pale malts & some caramel - slightly sweet & pleasant. Body is medium. Quite fresh taste with a good bitterness for a marzen. Fine drinkability & well made!

Jan 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a small tan head. Aroma has a sweet malty aroma. Color is a clear mahogany color like most oktoberfest and has a nice but bitter taste with hints of caramel and malt. Palate is warm, crisp, and metallic.

Jan 27, 2008 Bottle. Small white and quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange body. Lovely barley malt aroma with notes of caramel. Flavor dominated by barley malt plus less hops bitterness than expected. Hints of nuts and a bit of fruit. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.

Jan 26, 2008 Bottle. Reddish brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly sweet and the flavour is dry and strongly roasted. Overall a drinkable dry and roasted beer, slightly too watery in parts.

Jan 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. Amber color with persistent head. Malty and slightly toasty aroma with caramel and toffee. Sweetish, mellow and malty flavor with toffee and fresh fruitiness. Pleasant and mellow beer.
