Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

Nice malt backbone, some caramel/toffee and floral hops. Pretty good American version of a Marzen. It would be nicer on tap methinks.

Clear amber colour with an off white head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with fruity and light hoppy notes. Caramel sweet flavor with hay notes. Light dry, grassy finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark copper-auburn body with a creamy, medium-sized white head. Aroma has some generic toastiness and butterscotch notes. Flavour is clean and very drinkable. The chewy sweet malts are the main attraction here with some nice soft bitterness to balance it all out. Very nice.

Bottle@Home. Aroma has some smoked eal, malts and dark bread with wallnuts. Amber color, beige head, fair lace. Maltsweet, nutty, bitter, dry almost grassy finish. Good example of a Franconian Märzen but with a American touch without going to far and experimental. Good brew.

Bright orange-amber, modest head. Sweet and butterscotchy, medium bodied, mildly bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle. Sweet estery nose with loads of banana and a touch of spice and caramel. Good color, orange-amber with a small and thin white head on top of active carbonation. A touch thin and uncomplex, but still pretty flavorful. Indestinct sweetness. Not very Octoberfest-like, a bit too sweet and creamy, but a pretty solid beer nonetheless.

Beautiful dark amber color. Light caramel aroma. Clean and dry caramel flavor, some late sweetness. Very boring.

Bottled - Criterion, Leicester. A chestnut brown coloured beer with a ruby hue and an off white head. The aroma is malty and sticky sweet. Caramel and bockish alcohol. The taste is more of the same. It’s very heavy within its style, and although tasty is a tad complicated.
