Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

12 fl fl oz bottle, thanks to Grovlam. Pours amber, slight hazy with a lacing white head. Caramel malty and slight metallic note in the flavour. Slight hoppy flavour into a dry finish. Decent.

I’ve been having a lot of these lately and this one has a little more hops in the flavor but only faintly. This is also the thinnest with the smallest malt profile and caramel flavor I’ve had. The color is a light clear copper with a big foamy head. Some creaminess to the texture. Past that, not too exciting.

One bottle on the 12th of October another on the 14th of October. Pours a nice copper colour. Aroma of toasted malt and caramel. The flavour has toasted malt and caramel, some hoppiness and bit breadiness. Dry toasty and bit hoppy finish.

I had this beer at an Oktoberfest horizontal at a friends house. Light and sweet aroma. Pours light orange. Light and well balanced flavor. Sweet with a light hop finish that I can only categorize as "tasty". Overall I found this to be a nice and well balanced beer. I especially enjoyed it for it’s light, sweet, and roast flavor.

A Mes rate: Bottle from Utobeer thanks to reakt.
Excellent orange amber body with a reasonable off-white head and decent lacing. Great looking beer. Sweet malt aroma with a good lick of caramel. Flavour is the same. Totally one-dimensional. Very thin considering the looks. (sim reckons it should get extra marks for the sausage dog in the picture. Mes reckons not).

Bottle. [Courtesy of faroeviking , tasting @ yespr] Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Clear flat body with an amber colour. Spare lacework. Caramelized, grain, hint of dusty sniff, toffee, maybe even a hint of herbal tone over the palate. Light to medium bodied with a light dry texture and a soft carbonation. Light sweet flavour with a hint of bitterness. Light dry and sweet finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours mahogany with a frothy head, medium to high carbonation. Sweet malty aroma. The easiest way to explain the flavor is that it is a typical German Oktoberfest, but not as good. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice caramel finish, but a bit watery. Overall, not bad for a U.S. version.
