Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

Dark caramel color. Smell of hops, spice, caramel, malt, sugar and bread. Taste of caramel, brown sugar, bread, pepper, malt, salt and copper. Little water down at the end with a metallic taste at the end. Still good.

(Bottle, thanks Niklas) Pours copper coloured. Malt and hop in the aroma with tones of caramel, toast, sugary grain bread, honey, hay, earth, wood, herbs, grass, mild flowers and tea. Also some fruit sweetness and some unpleasant tones of vegetables. Malty flavour with tones of bread and caramel along with some herbal and grassy hops. Light woody and black tea like bitterness. Hints of watery liquor. Clean, hard and a bit cold mouthfeel. Medium body.

(Bottle) Pours a medium amber color with a lasting white head. Aroma of caramel and brown sugar. Quite malty, with a decent backbone. Average mouthfeel, but could have had less carbonation. A solid brew overall.

Bottled. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma of hop, some caramel. Bitter taste, slight sharp, some sweetness. Not a typical german marzen, but more bitter and in an american way. Quite ok.

Copper color, light aroma. Gosh I don’t know--mediocre beer? or did they just pick a mediocre style? Well, what can I say: I lager--more flavorful than most other lagers--but I guess just not really exciting to me.

Bottle at work.... Clear mahogany/nutbrown - beige head. Aroma: Corn, sweetness, straw, hay, light light soapy-hopped. Taste: High maltyness, caramel, dark bread, light crispy, nice medium hoppy, light corn, grassy, light fruityness. Light sparkling tongue feeling !! Nice - I Like it.....
