| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Nice amber red color, white head, true to the style. The aroma is malty, caramel, also typical. The flavor is bread dough, caramel, also typical for a marzen. The finish is smooth, very low bitterness. Decent, but hardly special. The mouthfeel is medium. Not bad, not great. boFNjackson (1310), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Bottle... Poured a rustic amber with a thick, off-white head. Rich, fruity and sugary malt aroma. Taste sorta fell through on this one. Tasty, creamy, caramel malts and that’s about it. It’s not bad, but nothing much going on. 13mikey (149), New Hope, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2009 THERES A NICE RICH HEAD ON THIS DARK GOLDEN BEER BUT IT SUPPRISINGLY HAS LITTLE TO NO AROMA. IT LACKS A ROBUST FLAVOR THAT I HAVE COME ACCUSTOM TO WITH A BEER THAT HAS AN APPERANCE LIKE THIS ONE. BUT STILL, ITS NOT AT ALL WATERY, QUIETE GOOD MALTY BEER BUT A LITTLE TO LIGHT IN THE HOPS SECTION FOR ME, NOT GREAT BUT STILL RECOMENDED. fidel (973), Livermore, California, USA
