Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Clear deep amber, frothy head.Very faint aroma of caramel, smooth texture with some mellow and subtle malt character. Finish is lean with a slight sweetness. Not as over the top as others, but definitely a noteworthy offering.

Caramel and toffee flavored. A little bitter finish, but it is a overall pretty good beer. I have had better octoberfests though.

Nice amber red color, white head, true to the style. The aroma is malty, caramel, also typical. The flavor is bread dough, caramel, also typical for a marzen. The finish is smooth, very low bitterness. Decent, but hardly special. The mouthfeel is medium. Not bad, not great.

Bottle... Poured a rustic amber with a thick, off-white head. Rich, fruity and sugary malt aroma. Taste sorta fell through on this one. Tasty, creamy, caramel malts and that’s about it. It’s not bad, but nothing much going on.

THERES A NICE RICH HEAD ON THIS DARK GOLDEN BEER BUT IT SUPPRISINGLY HAS LITTLE TO NO AROMA. IT LACKS A ROBUST FLAVOR THAT I HAVE COME ACCUSTOM TO WITH A BEER THAT HAS AN APPERANCE LIKE THIS ONE. BUT STILL, ITS NOT AT ALL WATERY, QUIETE GOOD MALTY BEER BUT A LITTLE TO LIGHT IN THE HOPS SECTION FOR ME, NOT GREAT BUT STILL RECOMENDED.
