Sep 20, 2009 THERES A NICE RICH HEAD ON THIS DARK GOLDEN BEER BUT IT SUPPRISINGLY HAS LITTLE TO NO AROMA. IT LACKS A ROBUST FLAVOR THAT I HAVE COME ACCUSTOM TO WITH A BEER THAT HAS AN APPERANCE LIKE THIS ONE. BUT STILL, ITS NOT AT ALL WATERY, QUIETE GOOD MALTY BEER BUT A LITTLE TO LIGHT IN THE HOPS SECTION FOR ME, NOT GREAT BUT STILL RECOMENDED.

Appearance: Pours a very clear amber with a very foamy, light tan head. Okay head retention.
Aroma: Toasted malt notes and a slight hint of caramel. Nothing spectacular.
Taste: Overly hoppy for the style, some biscuit notes, and an off vegetal note. This one isn’t in balance at all. Kind of a mess quite frankly.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium-light mouthfeel. Thankfully it has a short finish.
Overall: Just another in a long line of poor beers by Flying Dog. Skip this one.

Sep 10, 2009 Amber pour with a light tan head. Aroma was caramel, malty and sweetness. It had caramal flavor, slightly sweet malt. It left a nice caramel sweet taste in my mouth.

Sep 7, 2009 Colour... orange-amber with a roughly 1/4 inch head. Nose... sourly grainy! Palate... moderate C02, sweet malt, a mildly grainy edge, some hop bite in the back palate. Tastes better than it smells.
