| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2009 The nose is nice, biscuity, plenty of malt, some spiciness. The appearance is fine too, filtered amber, sudsy head. Palate is tasty, not terrible complex but that suits this session style fave of mine. Toffee, a tiny hint of fruit and a bit of grittiness balances this nicely. A good representative of the style. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
