Commercial Description:
Dogtoberfest is a unique beer containing five premium malts. This lager draws its influence from the Vienna Marzen or Oktoberfest style. It is rich and malty with a sweet aroma and deep mahogany color.

A amber color with a small off white head. A medium malt aroma, mild sweetness. Taste is caramel sweetness, some mild grassy hops with a lingering spice on the tongue. A average fest beer.

I liked that its aroma matched the flavor. I also enjoyed the malt and hop balance. I wish this was available year around.

The nose is nice, biscuity, plenty of malt, some spiciness. The appearance is fine too, filtered amber, sudsy head. Palate is tasty, not terrible complex but that suits this session style fave of mine. Toffee, a tiny hint of fruit and a bit of grittiness balances this nicely. A good representative of the style.

Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Slightly hazy amber with creamy beige pancake head. Aroma is crisp lager with chalk, lager yeast and corn. Flavor is crisp with heavy lager yeastm dry, chalky, fine enough. Medium creamy body with active carbonation. Not bad.

pours a amber orange to a frothy head..smell of toasted malts, nutty...taste of sweet caramel, toasted malts.. a little light or thin on the body and not really to deep of a flavor..overall i still enjoyed it... it’s very drinkable, more for putting down a six on the weekend than buying to keep at home for a nightly brew...nice

Bottle. Medium amber-orange color with a low, fine, frothy head. Rather faint amber malt and caramel aroma. Malty caramel flavor, rich roasty, well-balanced. Nice and tasty.

Pours amber with a nice off white head. Aroma is caramel with hints of toffee. Flavor is full of caramel, with hints of toffee and chocolate. Pretty good marzen.
