Commercial Description:
Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

Poured cloudy amber with a very small head. Strong hops aroma with a sweet note behind it. nice and smooth. Hoppy, but not overly so. The bitterness of the hops lingers on the tongue, with a very light sweet note for balance.

Dark red pour with a thin tan head. Strong aroma of hoppy bitter and floral notes. Flavor is hoppy, but also caramel and citrus. Full-bodied, and never disappointing. Solid brew.

Fine, thick liquid. A bit salty in-between. Roasted nuts and raspberries hid the alcohol well. Cereal are there late on in the finish. Lovely.

Orange to amber pour into an off white frothy head which fades into a thin line of bubbles along the edge of the glass. Soft carbonated bubbles rise from the bottom of the glass that melt into lingering lacings. Aroma of spice, citrus and piney hops. Initial flavor of lingering hoppy bitterness finishing with a spicy bite.

A cloudy copper brown color with a thin off white head.Aroma is sweet caramel, with a citrus, and floral hoppiness exploding from the glass.Taste is strong alcoholic, combined with a huge bitterness, which is citric, notes of lemon and orange zest, and peppery spice.Mouthfeel is sweet and chewy, making drinkability a bit less, but all in all this was better than I had expected.

nice strong beer fragrance the brew is somewhat powerful and spicey - it is a bit peppery and slick with botanicals in a nice substantive body. over all taste of alcohol backed timidly with malt in comparison to a good hop character of mostly citrus. demonstrative and successful. a good looking dark brown brew in the glass. i found it a good strong mostly simple but over the top brew.
