Smells of a hoppy sugar with a definite sweet taste. This definitly one of the better ales with excellent blending of malts and hops. BeerNeedy (62), Anchorage, Alaska, USA

A mildly cloudy pour of amber coloration. This ale says hello Im a double on the first sip. Great drinkability at a decent price. This offering will take its well earned place in the rotation. The finish not overpowered by either, the hops or malt, just a nice combo. I was surprised to see the 10.5% abv as I just got a bit of alcohol in the finish. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

(vintage 07) Pours a very seductive amber/orange color with a BEAUTIFUL white head that has amazing retention and perfect lacing! Im not sure I have seen lacing this nice before. Aroma is surprisingly malty but still very heavy on the hops. Mostly citrus hops plow through the nice pillow of a head that is still in my glass. Flavor is mostly citrus fruit, grapefruit.... There is a very nice warming at the end from the 10+ %abv. Very smooth on the other hand. I have said it before, this beer could get you into trouble. The heavy resiny palate compliments the beer very nicely too. This beer is under the Gonzo shadow and I almost think it should be the other way around. Monkeypower (87), Odense C, Denmark
