Commercial Description:
Double Dog Double Pale Ale Back by popular demand, our original "Wild Dog Release" is back, and this time it’s for good. Double Dog Double Pale Ale is a generously hopped ale with a deep red color and pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus.

A hazy amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet hoppy - like sticking your head into a hop plant. The flavor is sweet hoppy with notes of hop acids, caramel, leading to a powerful, sweet sticky and slightly dry end.

(Bottle 75 cl) As "Wild Dog". Hazy, dark golden with a small, off-white head. Great aroma hops in the nose. Huge, full body with lots of caramelish sweetness. Some fusty notes. Bitter all right, but not overwhelmingly so. 120805

Bottled. Copper colour, creamy head. Rich grapefruity nose. Sweet with soft but syrupy, mouthfeel. Very hoppy and fruity, like lychee juice, some menthe. Brutally bitter finish. Too sweet to be balanced.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a light orange white head. Very fruity hoppy nose, grapefruity mainly. Classic double ipa flavour. Soft caramel malt base with strong bitterness on top. Very fruity. Ends quite bitter and dry.

Bottle. Light unclear light to medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, excellent - good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, pine, grape. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (090308)

Bottle, 10.5%. Weak caramelly aroma, late pepper note. Cloudy dark orange colour. Nice stable white head. Caramelly flavour, distinct alcohol burn. Strange teaish veggy finish, but not unpleasant. The alcohol burns away most of the flavour. Very nice, but does get a bit rough after a while.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, sweet malts, some fruityness as well as mild berryish notes. Flavour is big time hops sweetened up by the alcohol. Also has some grassy notes as well as mild earthyness. Big beer, which is quite wellbalanced.
