Aroma is intensive fruitfull, grapefruit, some berries and hint of warming alcohol. Alcohol is disappear in the flavour, but you can feel nice warming feeling, strong fruitfull flavour combines to medium bitterness and turns into quite dry end. Full-bodied, slippery, sticky and overally very pleasant to drink. Great, strong, fruit-lovers wet beerdream.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 29, 2009 7 oz bottle. Pours a deep lightly hazy glowing orange with a thick creamy off white head. Aroma is a very nice blend of caramel and toffee with fresh piney hops. The hops are a bit strong for a pale ale but they don’t take away from the maltiness. Flavor starts sweet and very caramely, gains a nice strong but not bitter hop character, finishing hoppy yet smooth. I’m a bit torn about this because t’s very hoppy for a pale ale but its not too bitter. This is good though for pale ale’ers who don’t love the sharp bitterness. Vaiz (174), Netherlands

Grapefruit hoppy aroma with a caramel malt backing. BIG flavors, citrus and resiny hops, sweet caramel and bread. Medium body with a nice oily coat that is warming from the high alcohol content going down. Nice American strong that is similar to an imp/double IPA. curly (759), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Very hazy dark orange amber with a frothy sticky beige head. Aroma- dark fruit, bitter hop resin, strong toffee, orange rind, alcohol. Very bitter but juicy sweet taste with hot alcohol. Thick body, medium carbonation. Malt body is also very thick and heavy to balance the beer. Leighton (302), New York, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Tap at Ginger Man, NYC. Pours a deep, glowing orange with a fine white head. Nose is heavy on the hops, piney and ctirusy. Flavor follows along those lines, with some caramel, malty sweetness and hints of candy and dark fruits like raisins and figs. Medium bodied and pretty alcholic, the beer feels quite nice, what with the warming sensations. Very solid. waltersrj (54), Washington, USA
