The aroma is of a light whiskey (vanilla/oak mix). There is a big flavor of sweet malts, vanilla, and oak. This DB has almost a sherry like character in the warm finish. It is really well balanced. Well worth the hefty price tag if you can get your hands on it. It is a really limited production, only 5000 bottles or so. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA

Big sweet aroma, lots of carmels, some butters a hot acididc hop w/ a touch of whiskey and wood. Avg Pal. Real light whiskey w/ sweet vanillas, light oak, lots of carmels, a touch of wheaty grains. I like it much better than the regular version.
