Commercial Description:
“Garde Dog” Biere de Garde is unfiltered with a hazy, deep golden to light copper appearance. Brewed with domestically grown French Hops and German Pilsner Malts, it gives craft beer drinkers a very enjoyable, light-bodied, subtlety sweet beer with toasty malt undertones. Garde Dog is the perfect compleiment to lighter fare such as seafood, salads, cheese and Middle Eastern and Indian foods

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet grains, apples and spices. The flavor is decent; smooth flavors of citrus, spices, lemon stands out. Easygoing and not a bad brew.

Very light notes of fruit with this one. Refreshing and light, much like a cheap table wine. A few notes of fruit like apple and white grape are noteworthy on the aftertaste. Nothing particularly remarkable, but then again I’m not a big fan of this style.

Pours a golden hue with notes of malt and dried fruits. Hops show up with some nice spices on the palate and then the finish.

Bottle 355ml. Poured golden orange with a slight haze and a dense, frothy, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of orange zest with floral hops, mandarin, lime juice, yeasty notes and hints of fennel seeds. Flavor was an extremely light bitterness with bready malts, oranges, lemon zest, dried pears, cinnamon, light notes of wild yeasty and a touch of grain in the finish. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation, a creamy mouthfeel, watery texture and an average length finish.

Flaske: Lys orange let uklar øl med et lille skumhoved. Duft af malt, smagen er pilsnermalt men med et lækkert humlebid der både gør øllen drikbar og virkelig trækker ratingen op. Udmærket.

bottle from local beerstore. Pours a golden beer with an good head. Spicey aroma. Beer looks like a blond/pilsener. Taste is also nothing special. Tastes pretty normal. But there are some weak hints of spices. Nothing special but good enough for quiet evening.
