| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 5, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle this pours a cloudy gold with no head or lacing. Aroma of grasses, wheat and some fruit. Taste is grassy with some apple flavor - almost like this beer has been infused with Apple Juice - has the sour finish you would associate with apples as well. Decent beer for a hot day but not one I would drink regularly. demitriustown (702), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 2, 2009 12 oz bottle: Aroma is a bit tart, dried fruit, lightly malty, and some nice spice notes. Appearance is a clear straw color with a medium white head that diminishes into a soapy white film. Taste is lightly tart apple, some subtle hops and rather smooth. Palate is got an initial lively carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering light sweetness in the aftertaste. Overall, It’s alright. A really nice summer beer for a hot day. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 30, 2009 Bottle. Small, fizzy white head that recedes. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, pepper, spice and flowers. The sweetness (corn syrupy like), though not over powering, overshadows the hops in the flavor which is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Light to medium body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Rough around the edges and a bit disjointed.

Fruity banana aroma. Sweet and fruity with bubblegum, paper and apples as well as overripe banana and toffee. Medium bodied with near no bitterness. More if a weizen than a bière de garde. Rather sketchy and a bit sloppy.
