Aroma is malty with some mild spice. Flavor is quite crisp with a hint of spice and a malty, sweet aftertaste. Not a ton of flavor but light and pleasant. KnN (751), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Pours a light yellow orange with a thin short-lived white head. Aroma is a little grassy with some light malt hints and a bit of yeast. Flavor is a little bit vegetable broth, with out the saltiness. This beer tastes very "green." A nice little kick at the end. A bit watery on the mouthfeel. A lot of verbiage for a relatively simple beer. tgncc (845), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 10, 2009 The aroma is toasted malts, earthy, yeasty, spicy. The appearance is a golden color with an orange tinge, white head. The flavor is closeto the aroma, malty, spicy, high carbonation effecting the tatse and mouthfeel. Medium in body. The ending has a sharp bittering from hops (like noble hops), and the carbonation. Not a great representation of the style. I wouldn’t refuse to drink it, though. RasterMaster (125), , Oklahoma, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2009 Hazy golden pour into thin off-white foamy head that quickly dissipates into melting lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted bread and malty fruit. Initial flavor of yeasty malted fruit and hayloft straw fading into a lingering citrusy watery finish. Tasted a note of lemon, but little else. It stuck to the inside of my mouth (in a good way). Evenly carbonated. Not much of a finish. coyotehunter (557), , Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Smells like bread. Pours orange with a thin clingy head. Taste is a bit sweet and fruitish. Some honey and hay, with a touch of lemon. Finish is less than spectacular. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Light and sweet. I liked this a lot, though apparently not many others did. I don’t pretend to understand them. bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 7, 2009 Slightly hazy golden pour, with a fully diminished (to nothing) white head. Some sweet, grassy/grainy and malt notes to the nose, with almost musty, cellar hues as the brew warms. The flavors follow in tow, underdone, with grass, honey, and sweet grains (not quite wheat, though). Finish is curt, possibly with some sours? Eh... ok, I guess; I won’t scoff at it, but there’s not a lot going on. The mouthfeel is a bit overcarbonated, and the body is light, just shy of thin. Glad for the rate.
