Commercial Description:
“Garde Dog” Biere de Garde is unfiltered with a hazy, deep golden to light copper appearance. Brewed with domestically grown French Hops and German Pilsner Malts, it gives craft beer drinkers a very enjoyable, light-bodied, subtlety sweet beer with toasty malt undertones. Garde Dog is the perfect compleiment to lighter fare such as seafood, salads, cheese and Middle Eastern and Indian foods

Bottled. Code by UPC: 211FX08. Beer is clear, light-hued bright copper orange. Head is small, frothy, off-white; rapidly and totally diminishing.
The aroma is malty with a light note of toasted grain, trace of cracker; Hoppy with light notes of resin, lemon zest; Tiniest yeasty note of basement when I swirl the hell out of it, otherwise it’s all dough; Light miscellaneous note of clean metal
The flavor is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic (dry) with a long, lightly bitter, lightly acidic (dry) finish. Slightly tingle on the gums.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Smells a lot like a domestic fizzy yellow lager. Missing the best parts of the style.

This biere de Garde pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is sweet, touch of malt, honey and some spices. A light to medium bodied B de G. The malts are fruity and bready. The hops are floral and earthy. There is a nice balance between the fruitiness and the earthiness. It just seems to be a little mild tasting. Needs some additional or more spices. Drinkable. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter

Poured gold, like a lager. Aroma of grain, not really like a garde. Taste was a little better, with toasted malt and sweetness. Finished light with some sweet and bitter notes. Body was light and finish bitter. This just wasn’t very good.

Decent...needs more flavor. Smells ALRIGHT, bottled got a 6 pack, won’t mind finishing it however i should’ve got the classic pale ale, as i heard it is better. Although for 7.99 a 6 pack it’s not too bad.

Bottle. Pours a very clear gold with a white head. Decent taste the aroma wasn’t that great in my opinion a little too malty in smell. Preaty good though.

Bottled. Poured brilliant, brighter golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up some dusty bready notes, honey, and a little corn.. some floral hops accent.. just came across as "cheap". The flavor had toasted pale malt and honey sweetness at the core surrounded by light floral and grassy bitterness.. finished tacky with no enjoyable flavors going on. Lighter-bodied and sweeter on the palate with an OK flow at best.. this just wasn’t very good.
