Aroma is richly fruity and malty, demanding a taste. The well-rounded malty flavor has a little bitterness and a lagerish feel with a hint of fruit. Garde Dog is rough and edgy going down the pipes. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2008 On tap, pours a translucent pale orange yellow with a nice foamy white headl good lacing. Weak aroma of fruit, maybe apricot? Though bar odors clouded my senses. Taste is crisp, a bit fruity like the aroma, a touch of malt and just a hunt of corn. Better while still cold, but I kinda like this beer. alexanderj (2279), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 7, 2008 Bottle; poured a very clear gold with short lasting, but decent sized head. Aroma was of toasted biscuit malt, earth, caramel and light hints of must. Flavor of caramel corn and must. Not much hop presence, as expected. A bit dry. Overall it was decent on a warm day. guzzler67 (1285), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 6, 2008 Clear golden appearance with a medium size, off white head and little lacing. Mild, toasted malt aroma. Taste is on the sweet malt side with a touch of spicyness. French hops? Subtle, somewhat herbal. Light bodied, but with a lingering finish. Doubt that I would want to age this one JCB (1786), Durham, North Carolina, USA

A crisp pour, lively beer, with a sharp fruity aroma. The initial taste has the slight sweetness that’s requisite to the style, and a mild yeasty spice to boot, but it seems to finish more like a pils on some level. Either way, it may not be a memorable beer but it serves well as a hot weather go to. Sammy (4049), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 4, 2008 Yellow with fluffy white bubbly head. Neutral smell. High carbonation. Some creaminess on tonge, lace, above average mouthfeel. A tad of hop. But fairly weak taste for the style. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 4, 2008 Tap @ Papago. Dirty dish rag aroma. Hazy gold aroma with white head. Mild bitter dry grainy flavor with a mild sweetness. Dry on the palate guess not the best refreshment on a 96 dgree day.
