Commercial Description:
“Garde Dog” Biere de Garde is unfiltered with a hazy, deep golden to light copper appearance. Brewed with domestically grown French Hops and German Pilsner Malts, it gives craft beer drinkers a very enjoyable, light-bodied, subtlety sweet beer with toasty malt undertones. Garde Dog is the perfect compleiment to lighter fare such as seafood, salads, cheese and Middle Eastern and Indian foods

Hazy deep blond color. Soft aroma, malt, fruity chewing-gum, paper; strange, only for lovers of the simple beers. Fizzy and sweetish malt, a bit spicy, correct bitterness, light herbal touch. Simple.

from crackedkettle.com - hazy pale orange colour with a poor head retention; fairly fruity (banana and litchies) with a touch of vinegar in the background; sweet with a low carbonation and a medium malt backbone; the finish is a bit watery with more fruity notes

Though I can’t speak for it’s relation to its style or claimed heritage, I really enjoyed this beer. It had a good flavor and was refreshing and drinkable as well.

Bright yellow in color. Green apple aromas and slightly sour. Has some meade notes as well. In flavor and palette it is very light. Not much going on. There is a nice slightly sweet nectar or honey suckle flavor going on. Pretty bland, but not unpleasant.

Bottle. pours a hazy golden color with quickly receding white head. Aroma is yeasty, grass, and bread. Flavor is slighty sweet, then a bit of citrus, almost peppery. Somewhat spicy. Nice lively mouth.

From bottle. Hazy golden pour. Aroma of pineapple and butter. Flavor was a bit of citrus and black pepper. Drinkable. Went well with our grilled salmon!

[Bottle] Pours a hazy dark gold color without much head. Sweet malts and light spice aroma. Some wheat and nutmeg in the taste. Smooth and sweet aftertaste. Fine carbonation. There’s nothing wrong with this beer, but it’s pretty boring.
