The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of yeast, fruit, banana, malt, wheat, spice and the finish is slightly dry and citrussy. It is pleasant to drink, and makes med think of a wheat beer. lithy (1800), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Clear bright amber, small scummy head. Grape wine aroma. Initially a little watery in the mouth, but quickly it comes over as sweeter and stickier. Fills the palate fairly well, accompanied with very pleasant malty and grainy retronasals, even some roastiness there too. Taste-wise, we’re back to wine, but also some apple. Pleasant hoppy bite, and a nice sweet fruity hoppy finish. Quite believable attempt at a Belgian ale, I was positively surprised. A beautiful floral perfumy burp followed my first few sips - dang - I just gave it another point! brewblackhole (1385), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Very heavy hay grain aroma of German malting,the kind I’m finding very attractive lately,slight fruitness in secondary wave, taste is slightly sweet grain ,with a mild tart apple finish. Thin enough to be thirst quenching, flavorful enough to drink slowly,a little oily in finish, wish this would be a little bigger. Very pleasant GuinnessGuy09 (4), Wisconsin, USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 2, 2009 Bottle. Hazy golden color.
