Commercial Description:
“Garde Dog” Biere de Garde is unfiltered with a hazy, deep golden to light copper appearance. Brewed with domestically grown French Hops and German Pilsner Malts, it gives craft beer drinkers a very enjoyable, light-bodied, subtlety sweet beer with toasty malt undertones. Garde Dog is the perfect compleiment to lighter fare such as seafood, salads, cheese and Middle Eastern and Indian foods

Bottled. Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma of some flowers, bit citrus, slight malt. Bit sweet taste, slight hop, some anis bitterness as well? Dryish palate.

Bottle. Hazy, golden yellow with a little head. Mild nose of lemon and dough. Citrus and yeast with a little banana flavors blend together nicely. Not really much of a Biere de Garde, but a perfectly fine summer refresher.

Bottle. Flat and quite sweet.Lacks the body of the original French versions that I have tried. The sweetness lingers and no lacing was left.A brace try but not quite up to it.

Poured clear and was slightly darker than a standard pale lager. A thin white head with streaky lacing. The aroma was light citrus, yeast and malt. The flavor was a refreshing swirl of citrus, malt and just a touch of herbal, grassy notes and some yeast. Thin, easy drinking mouthfeel. Fairly refreshing. Sessionable. Overall score seems low.
