| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2009 Bottle. Hazy, golden yellow with a little head. Mild nose of lemon and dough. Citrus and yeast with a little banana flavors blend together nicely. Not really much of a Biere de Garde, but a perfectly fine summer refresher. johndoughty (2159), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2009 Bottle. Flat and quite sweet.Lacks the body of the original French versions that I have tried. The sweetness lingers and no lacing was left.A brace try but not quite up to it. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2009 Poured clear and was slightly darker than a standard pale lager. A thin white head with streaky lacing. The aroma was light citrus, yeast and malt. The flavor was a refreshing swirl of citrus, malt and just a touch of herbal, grassy notes and some yeast. Thin, easy drinking mouthfeel. Fairly refreshing. Sessionable. Overall score seems low.
