May 2, 2008 It gets props because it is cheap compared to similar tasting beers. I was impressed ,after reading the reviews on here i wasn’t expecting much . It is sweet and tastes great. Reminds me of Anchor’s Old Fog Horn.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours an almost opaque cloudy amber. Aroma was honey and vanilla. Taste was full of sweet honey. Palate was a little grainy and bubbly.

Sample Tasting - Golden yellow hue with white head. Citrus, lemon grass, straw, hops nose. Smooth flavor, medium bodied. Light hops, sweeter malt. Drinkable.

Mar 27, 2008 Dark gold with a good starting head and lasting thick skiff. Aroma of long grass, straw and alcohol. A bit of alcohol in the flavour. Thick body almost syrupy. Has a chewy dry grass flavour. Reminds me of some Oktoberfests with a juicier flavour. Has an interesting juice pocket aftertaste effect.
