Taste is very sweet with heavy notes of dark fruits ,maybe plums. Big alcohol finish. Decent. hughie (3016), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Oct 3, 2008 Reddish brown. Smooth, sweet malty aroma with stewed plums. Taste is heavy and sweet, almost cloyingly so, full of dark, figgy fruitiness, alcohol, and black, chewy liquorice. There’s a thick, lingering dryness at the finish. Should have kept this one for Christmas.
