| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2005 I don’t think that it stands out among Barley Wines but I found it to be very enjoyable and delicious. I would certainly drink more of these. I looked at the graphs and it seems to be trending higher so perhaps they have tweaked the recipe. Very dark, no head. Inviting spicy aroma and taste. The spices and flavuors seemed to be more nutmeg like and less cinamon. shrubber85 (3008), Wallhalben, Germany

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 14, 2004 Vintage 2000. In the bottle at my own Barleywine tasting 2004. Aromatic caramel upon first opening. Very light in color. Taste of honey sweetness. The body is not too substantial for the style. Weaker mouth. Quite light on the hop flavoring. Very drinkable. I like the instructions on the label. larsga (3000), Oslo, Norway
