Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Aroma is strong with wheat, with notes of citrus fruit, bannana, and clove. The taste is about the same, but a little dry on the pallet. The finish is a little sour, but still smooth. A pretty good Hefeweizen.

Pretty good and pretty flavoursome. Looks, smells and tastes like the real deal. Good lift off the nose of sweet banana and bubble gum. Palate is quite dry, relative to the nose at least, and shows plenty of fizz and a welcome hint of spice. The latter really is a necessity as the palate gets slightly bogged down with mildy cloying and sweet clove and fruit.

Has a cloudy yellow appearance and white head. A little sourness grew towards the finish, which I found interesting.

One of the best from Flying Dog, IMO. I like the fruity sweetness it offers, and agree it tastes more Belgian at first than typical Hefeweizen. A good summer brew.

Aroma is of citrus and wheat. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head disappears quickly. Tastes of orange, banana, and corriander. This tastes more like a belgian (and not a very good one at that) than a hefeweizen.

Pours cloudy yellow with off white head. Aomas of sweet fruit and wheat. Lots of yeast flavor and fruitiness. Pretty sweet. Medium body with soft carbonation.
