Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

Pours a hazy orange color with a small, slightly frothy head which disappeared quite quickly. Fruits coming through on the nose, grapefruitty. A medium body with a fruity citric taste, a disappointing finish that was slightly bitter. Not what i was expecting... a good beer that was very refreshing.

A solid brew from The Dog, but not a true Hefe.It was golden with the banana and cloves nose. Malty, watery and banana sweet.Finished watery but clean.

Bottle: Nice fruity aroma and flavor. A littled watered down and barely any spice flavor. Overall a good beer. A little on the too sweet side.

Cloudy blond color. A refreshing wheat, with some fruitness, mild wheat character, some malt, light sweetness, almost missing the spices; but the final is very short. Not Wit, not Weisse, but pleasant.

Pours opaque light orange with light head. Beautiful beer. Aroma of fresh cut flowers, bannana, and sweet grapefruit. Surpsisingly light feel considering the appearance. Very sweet and citrusy with light malt base. Tastes like it had a lemon in it when it didn’t. Leaves an amazing crispness on the finish which lingers forever. It was nice after the first few sips, but the more I drank, the more sweet and one-dimensional it tasted.

Pours milky light burnt orange with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma is yeasty banana, cloves, wheat, green apple and lemon. Flavor is yeasty, wheat, banana, lemon zest and sweet corn. Finish is quick and a bit dissatisfying, yeast, a little wheat and corn, and some lemon. Mouthfeel is thin and highly carbonated.
