Light golden...ugly looking bubbles, small white head, for a hefe not looking so great. Nice spiced banana aroma and celery. Some yeast, banana, and wheat. Palate is so detached from the beer... hate the big bubbles. None of the refinement that goes into the german hefes that have been around for 500 years. This is an american wheat.

Nov 7, 2007 Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Hazy, yellowish body with a white head on top. Dryish, dusty, slighlty sour on the nose. Quite fruity and citrusy flavor with a sour touch and a dry, dusty, medium full mouthfeel. A strange wheat beer that is drinkable indeed, but far from a traditional German-style hefe. (071005)

Nov 6, 2007 Nice wheat with lots of wheat flavors and smooth mouth feel. Lots of wheat which stayed on the bottom of the glass when poured. Average lighter wheat style aroma with a hazy golden color.

Nov 5, 2007 bottle. poured golden with a one finger foam head. The aroma had notes of yeast and muted spices. The flavor was muted as well slightly citrus, wheat with some yeast. The mouth feel was medium to light and although smooth was slightly watery. I agree that this is an average hefe, it lacks the pizzaz of the best in this style.

Nov 3, 2007 bottle poured a hazy golden in color with a two finger head on the beer and little carbination. smell is yeast spice, wheat, and something sweet i cant put my finger on. taste is medium on the mouth feel, but quickly gets thin and finishes with a watery wheat taste. the bottle had a good dose of yeast on the bottom that when swirled and poured in clouded it up but still not enough. just not really that interesting or tasty to me.

Oct 28, 2007 Interesting aroma of yeast with notes of raw meat and wheat. Amber body with white head. Flavor is sweet wheat with strong yeast. Watery palate. Kind of funky and not worth trying again.

Oct 27, 2007 Pours hazy yellow / orange with a sudsy off-white head. The aroma has banana esters, citrus and lots of creaminess. Medium creamy body with frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with rich wheat that has orange notes and light spice. The finish introduces the banana, but also gets a bit watery. A fair hefe.
