Oct 6, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow with a white head. Slight plastic and bubblegum aroma, wheaty and a bit spiced. Wheaty and citric flavour, quite citric actually. Ends mellow wheaty. Citrus flavours are used heavily in this brew to cover up a boring wheat brew - sad, the result as such is not bad though.

Oct 3, 2007 Banana and grassy head. Nice puffy white head that shrinks quickly. Mouth feel is very soft and smooth. Tastes is the same as the nose and very grassy short finish. Much like paulaner. A pretty good hefe especially from an American company. Pretty good.

Sep 30, 2007 350 ml bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Banana bread aroma and taste with a sick sour finish.

Sep 26, 2007 Bottled. Good but as other raters have pointed out not a traditional German hefe. Pours cloudy yellow with a nice creamy white head that lasts all glass. Aroma does have banana but flavor is rather creamy with no real spice or citrus.

Sep 23, 2007 Draft at Flying Saucer. Pours amber golden with a dissipating white head. Aroma of banana esters, but not aggressive. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of banana bread with some slight toastiness and lemon. Some hop detection mid palate. This lost me on the finish, which has some sour butteryness. Not really a classic hefe. This is more of an hefe influenced American Wheat.

Sep 21, 2007 murky yellow with a nice white head.its a good looking one i must say.aroma is of roots,hay,wheat,and a bit of all-spice.flavor does much of the same with a medicinal type finish.

Sep 21, 2007 Updated: Jul 10, 2008Cloudy yellow body with a very small white ring of foam. Lemon and hay on the nose, not much hefe-bananas here. Taste is banana flavoured lemon juice. Although the body is light and crisp, it has all the hay/wheat I expect from the genre. A little hop presence. The beer is refreshing but it gets a bit annoying by the end of a single bottle although I couldn’t quite figure out why exactly. Overall this is a rather typical but slightly below average hefeweizen. My motto: less drinking of In-Heat Wheat, more drinking with in-heat girls.
