Commercial Description:
Brewed in the centuries old tradition of German beers, our brewers use more wheat and proprietary yeast to give it the unmistakable character of a flavorful, authentic Hefeweizen. The High proportion of wheat gives In Heat its smooth, full-mouth feel and our special yeast gives it its unique fruity and spicy aroma.

bottle. Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is of banana bread. Taste was the same banana bread. Mouthfeel was thin with lots of carbonation. Not bad.

Tasted at Keystone....11Kft above sea level. Was confused with this beer, not a true Hefeweizen, not terribly composed, too dark, head not right, aroma strange and palate confusing. Drank it down, but only out of spite.

Bottled - golden color with small white head. Smelled clean with a bit of banana & clove. Tastes thin and somewhat unsatisfying....just not what I was wanting or expecting in a hefe - but otherwise not a horrible beer.

330 ML bottle in USA. Well not up to German standards at all. No head, cloudly, and unnatural feel. Taste was not too bad but palate was weak. Fizzy and disappointing.

Hazy yellow pour with white head. Faint aroma of clove and bananas. Taste was the same. Had a second bottle that was foamy as heck. Thought it had a slight different taste.

Haha, I’m glad I didn’t rate this already. Wasn’t my first pick tonight, but the selection was so-so and I thought I hadn’t rated it. Disappointing, but at least I can tick this sucker. Pours slightly hazy orange golden with almost no head. More like a soda’s carbonation. Not what a hefe should look like. Big banana nose and lots of wheat... but not much yeas. Just banana and wheat, really. Sweeter than most. Not very good.

Classic Hefe scents of banana and clover. Appearance was somewhat translucent with scant head. Flavor of banana and cloves, but not evenly dispersed. All the flavor seemed up front, all overture and little opera. Palate is lively. A beer that could use some tweaking to get to a higher level.

355ml bottle. Honey coloured and clear with good carbonation and a small white head. Bubblegum, cinnamon and clove aromas bring a sweet joy to the nose. Flavoursome and fills the whole mouth and lingers long on the palate.
