LJBrewing (22), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Jul 7, 2005 Updated: Jul 8, 2005Excellent Bavarian Style Weizen. True representation of this style. A delicious wheat beer for summer time. This stuff taaste just like my homebrew, They stole my recipe! Lager_Love (65), Clinton, Missouri, USA Oct 22, 2006 A suprisingly tasty brew, with an almost citrus kick that was very refeshing. Will drink again. BeerAteHer (384), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA Jul 18, 2005 This is an unexpectedly great hefeweizen -- not the typical American bland mix of yeast and wheat, but a complex brew that could well have come out of a fine European brauhaus. Appearance is orange-yellow with a nice amount of sediment and small-carbonation. Aroma is very yeasty but if you breathe in slowly there are some powerful, subliminalized marshmallow malty elements. Flavor is an excellent combination of complex, dynamic fruity yeastiness that lets other more hoppy elements shine through as well. Fully effervescent yet light on the palate, with an aftertaste like honey-sweetened iced tea -- perfect for a hot summer day. This might be my favorite American hefe. MrAndo (39), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Jun 26, 2006 This beer is a bold spicy wheat, it has the aroma of clove and maybe a little banana. Nice and cloudy in color, A very good beer. I love a good german wheat so i am bias, but this one is one of the best i have had from america hands down. Flying Dog hit a home run with this one. SupermanDoha (5), Fairfax, Virginia, USA does not count Aug 28, 2004 Excellent beer to sit down and enjoy with friends in front of a hockey game. The beer pours so nice and leaves anice head on the glass. The flavor is made even better with squeezed lemon at he bottom of the glass. The smoothness of it all brings me back all the more
