At the Mitra in purmerend, My bottle says K-9 cruiser. a wapon? winter ale,..o.k. its snowing today. Amber red, medium fluffy head, fruity smell, wow bitter but gentle bitter, most like grapefruits, some sweeds and spices.

Flowery hoppiness with a little caramel mixed in. Average fizzy head that has a off-white color. Fair lacing with a sparkling clear body. Medium amber color. A kind of sour milk in the initial flavor. Moderately bitter finish. Medium bodied with a dry texture. Lively carbonation. Overall not the best Flying Dog beer out there.

Draught. Clear dark amber colour. Caramel and toasted malt in the aroma along with some dark fruitiness. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is bit sweet with well toasted malt and caramel, some dark fruits, mild spice and a pleasant mild bitterness.

Bottled from Mitra, Naarden, The Netherlands. Clear copper coloured, small head. Caramel malty nose, hint of fruit. Same in flavour, but with some additional hops. Gets less interesting every sip.

12 oz. Clear and dark garnet. A small, lasting foam leaves a nice frosting on the glass. Cocoa, split wood and caramel apple aromas. Flavors of caramel apple and cherry liqueur are dried well by a woody-hop finish. Near-medium body is lightly carbonated and finishes dry.

Pours a nice amber color with thin head. Very malty aroma...hints of caramel and toffee. Flavor is decent...more caramel and toffee, with a hint of hops. Finish is very sweet, more then normal for a English Strong Ale. Alcohol a bit weak.

My first rating since all the mess of shutting down/coming back/shutting down again etc.. YAY!! alright, onto the rating:) This pours a crimson brown with an offwhite fluffy head. It’s aroma is smokey, and malty. It’s flavor is quite malty and bitter, with some woody notes. I think this is a fine winter beer, worthy of at least an 80 overall. Cheers!
