Bottled 355ml. It pours a ruby beer with a beautiful creamy beige head. The nose is of glue, mince pies, marzipan, raisins, crystal & chocolate malt, hops and banana. Decent flavor. Medium to full bodied. Nice lacework. Sweet. Banana and raisins showing up. Low bitterness. Nice long finish with hints of aniseed, roasted malt, hops and raisins with quite a lot of residual sugars.

Bottle@Home. Flowery, toffee, herbal aroma. Amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, pretty bitter, malty, grassy/herbal, bit rusty, some caramel and toffee notes. Sticky but metallic dry on the tongue. What’s so ’winter’ about this?
