pours a dark caramel with a two finger stiff, fluffy, tan head. aroma is toasted malt and some hops with some spices. has a medium body with descent lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma and the spices taste like nutmeg and cinnamon. its descent. as it warms there is a little raisin aroma and flavor.

A dark, clear brown beer. 1 inch off-white head quickly goes to 1/8 inch. Smells like hops, carmel, chocolate, and malt. Tastes like stong malty chocolate, and a little sugar. This is really like a brown ale. May be a good desert beer. Moderately heavy mouthfeel. Syrupy finish.

Decent amber pour with minimal head and lacing. This is a sweet, prune-y ale with a noticeable spice and hops presence. Good beer but not sessionable.

Flying Dog K-9 Cruiser 6-3-6-3-10 Sample Tasting - Reddish amber hue, not much head by time I got to it, I’m thinking it was white. I’ve tasted so much beer today, but for this one the thing that stands out is sweet malt. Spices, hops present but not dominant. Need more research.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Pours out in a crystal clear reddish amber colour with a lasting off-white foam. Sweet and clean aroma of fudge, caramel, sweet licorice and mature cherries with floral undertones. Medium-bodied with clean flavours of blue plums, caramel, toffee and metal with touches of orange-peels and cherries. Malty long finish caramel, flowers and dark fruit but once again, the mouth-feel and the body from Flying is way too clean for my tastes. Could have been much better. Still quite decent.

Clear copper body with a medium tan head. Sweet grainy and cereal aroma. Sweet grainy cherrios flavor with light caramel. Medium body with medium carbonation and a grainy finish.

Tawny rust color, quarter inch bubbly dirty cream foam. Fairly complex flavor after a very uneventful nose. It dries out the mouth and a strange bitterness leads from the front of the mouth to the back of the throat. I agree that there is a type of "roastiness" in the taste but no distinct flavors to me at all.
