| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2007 Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Sweet and syrupy, the only way I can think to describe the flavor is "empty sweetness" - there is just not a whole lot of character in the flavor. On the positive side, there are no off flavors, and this would make a decent session brew for those who prefer something on the sweeter side of the spectrum. gnoff (3573), Göteborg, Sweden

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 29, 2007 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a chestnut color with a huge tan head. The aroma was tangy, sour and bitter and not quite pleasant. The flavor was tangy, sour and nutty malts with hints of vague holiday spices and a bitter finish. Marsiblursi (1649), Göteborg, Sweden

Medium sweet, caramel and fudge flavour with a sour sting in the finish. Some sour fruits and berries, mostly raspberries. Round mouthfeel. Raspberries ligers all the way to the finish along with some hops. Medium body. jimbowood (956), Athens, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Another good seasonal beer. Pours a beautiful deep red with a small white head. Nice sweet aroma...maybe brown sugar? Heavy on the palate with a nice bite. Definitely some sweetness there with a bitter aftertaste. A good winter beer. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Caramelly nose, nice mahogany color, lowhead. Roast malt with nutty notes and some maple syrup. Almondy end. Very sweet. Needs something to counter the sugariness.
