Red/orange dark color rather hazy and lightly loads with light fizz. Creamy and escaping head, medium duration. Decided alcoholic and round scent; fruit flavored with pleasant notes of wood and resin. Light prickly taste with a begins decided alcoholic impact. Full bodied but balanced with fruity and vinous rumors on the end.

roasted malt, some fruity esters, maybe some coffee/chocolate in aroma. root beer colored with a medium sized off-white head. some smoke and chocolate in flavor as well as some hoppy fruitiness. a very complex beer (dry smoke, sweet fruity malts and hops) but i find its not robust enough and needs more carbonation. still very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a deep red-brown with off-white head. The aroma is dominated by caramel, with a few lesser notes of dark fruits and a zesty freshness. The flavor has a lot of caramel and maple, a slight peppery twang, various woody notes, and a grainy, somewhat alcoholic finish. Ok, but nothing to rave about.

12ozbottle. I loved this one. Dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma has a fruity berry and malt to it. Taste is dry sweet caramel with a hint of fruits. Has a great hoppy bitterness to it that really finish off the taste of this beer.
