Ruby colour with a small, disappearing head. Has an aroma of sweet caramels, with sweet malty flavour and not too bitter finish. Overall an ejoyable beer.

Dark copper body, good-sized frothy/creamy light tan head. Aroma has some candy-like spicy hops, some bready rye. Flavor is a decent citrus pulp hop, along with some fruit, toasted caramel and rye which brings up the sweetness a little too much. Its not bad... decent balance, a little sour twang... but okay.

(draft) A mild aroma and flavor. There was a hint of spice at the finish. Quite interesting. I liked it. A Winter Ale that’s almost low enough in alcohol to be a session beer.

Deep dark mahogany color, small beige head. Very dark fruity tasting, and sweet along with an alcohol kick. I liked this a lot, more like a quadrupel.

Really, really nice! The store ran out of this stuff way too fast, too. It reminds me a bit of Robert the Bruce, maybe not quite as full bodied or full flavored. Body is a dark ruby-brown, aroma is sweet and caramel-malty, with just a touch of hops keeping it all in balance. Very enjoyable.

A strong aroma of caramel malt greets the nose. The beer pours a reddish brown with a tan head. There is a strong caramel malt flavor that dominates throughout.

Sweet smell. Dark tan, lightly ruby around the edges of the glass. Creamy head that dissipated. Lots of malt in the nose and its apparent in the taste. Light hops in the finish. It gives it a reasonable amount of bitterness. Very subtle for a winter warmer.
