Poured dark brown with a nice offwhite thick head. Aroma wasa coffee and malt. Taste was mostly the same. A ltitle fruit and maybe some sweet flavor molasses? A decent brew but nothing fantastic.

Bottle. Nice dark color with a thick white head. Little aroma. Lots of flavor, can taste the roasted grains. Slightly watery finish.

Ruby pour with decent sized tan head. Medium bodied. Malty and somewhat fruity. Also a tinge of sweetness. Uneventful finish. Nontheless, decent brew with pretty high alc. content.

bottle-sampled while i was stuck in Pueblo, CO from the April 10 snowstorm. pours a deep amber hue with a big beige head-foamy and pillowy. great lacing! arom of english hops, big malts, carmely and sweet. medium body. some good earthy hop notes on the finish. I cant believe this beer has this low of score. a little cardboardy on the malt profile as it warmed but dind’t really detract due to the style of beer here. for flying dog, this is a winner!

Flying Dog brews are pretty mid-level most of the time, but this IMO is the best of their offerings. Heavy on the malt backbone and pretty light on the hops. This brew goes down easy and tastes real nice. If I ever buy FD brews it’s either the mix pack (for variety) or this one.

Smooth, crisp, and very malty, this offering is a true treat. The malt really takes control in this one; I detect slight caramel and chocolate in the finish. Good beer.

Bottle. Reddish brown with a white medium head. Aroma was full with malt. Flavor was medium malt with a medium citrus finish. I have had a few Flying Dog brews and this is the best I have had.
