Dark, golden red color. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel and hops. Flavor is dominated by malt initialally until you pick up the caramel and hop flavor near the end. Nice beer

Dark, reddish brown beer with weak beige head. Aroma is malty, grassy hopped, slightly sweet and stuffy. Flavour is malty, some roastiness and the end is like typical lager and quite dry. Quite easy to drink. Uninspirated and stuffy beer, my expectaions can’t be fullfilled with this beer. I will not buy this anymore.

Pours a nice taupe head with a clear amber brown body. Rich malty aroma. Tastes almost like a lager up front. All up into the malts after that. A hoppy tang right around the late middle. Some caramel. Pretty easy going down. I just like this style though.

Bottled. Very different. Dark amber color with thicker to medium head. Aroma is fruit, caramel malts, lighter hops and alcohol. Flavor is also sweet and light bitterness from hops. Also fruity and caramel in flavor. LIngers in finish. lighter bodied for a strong ale. good seasonal.

Bottle. It’s somewhat dark amber colored, with a nice head. Aroma is very caramely and fruity with some light hint of berries. Flavour is caramely and quite sweet with a light bitterness. Quite fruity, but a bit too sweet. Light to mediumbodied. Okay, but nothing special.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2009) Dark amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange, earthy hops and a touch of smoke. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, orange and earthy hops in a well balanced, fairly bitter finish. Slightly above medium body, some malt sweetness. Nice and tasty.
