| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Pours a dark chicory amber color with a think yellowish head. Malty aroma with hints of dark cherry, bitter hops and a spicy pepper presence. Syrupy and medicinal with hints of robitussin, spicy pepper and alcohol. I was looking forward to drinking this after the way it poured, but have to say that I was dissapointed by it’s flat medicinal taste.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2009 (35.5cl bottle, as FD K-9 Cruiser Winter Ale) Clear, amber colour with a thick beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with caramel, nutty accents, shy herbal hops and a tinge of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid toasty malty taste with notes of caramel and a subtle fruity (cherry) note, combined with traces of cacao/chocolate; sweet and slightly bitter malt-accented and moderately toasted finish with lighter hoppy influences and again notes of alcohol. Not perfectly rounded but has some potential (18.VIII.09). Pawola22 (789), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 2, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, red-copper body with a finger-width, rocky and foamy, dense, beige head that never completely dissipates and leaves a layer of foam. Medium stickly lacing on the glass. Aroma is mainly malty with a peppery spice and hint of ripe fruit. Flavor is sweet and peppery malts, a touch of molasses, cherry-raisin and other ripe fruits, and a light amount of heavier hops come out more in the finish. Medium bodied, well balanced, clean, and semi-dry with a sweet, peppery, fruity aftertaste that lingers for a moderate duration. Overall, surprisingly tasty. Sweet, but nicely spiced and bittered. Not bad for FD. Enjoyit (1783), Vadum, Denmark
