This is Flying dog all the way, they took English Strong ale and made it all their own. Great Flavors here

0,3 l fles. € 0,85. Veel bitter maar dat hoort bij een Ale.

Bottle, 12oz. A clear, copper-colored beer with a small, off-white head. Nice nose with caramel, malts and fine, resiny hops. Rather bitter flavor with some caramel. Sort of lacking complexity, still nice, and more interesting than the aroma. Full-bodied, almost astringently bitter. Long, resiny, bitter finish. A beer that maybe is a bit too straight forward, but I like it anyway. (090430)

33cl bottle clear brown, small thick vanilla cream like light brown head. very nice hoppy yet balanced aroma. american hops clearly present, grape, pine. also sweetness, great aroma. flavor is malty caramel sweetness, hidden behind quite some hops. tastes great. well balanced

Copper amber pour into thin bubbly, foamy head that dissipates into a ring of foam as carbontated bubbles rise into a swirling pool of foam in the center of the glass. Heavy malty aroma with a waft of fermented grapes and hints of citrus as soon as the top was popped on the bottle. Intital flavor of caramel sweet fading into a slight hoppy lingering aftertaste while melting lacing follows every malty-hoppy sip.
