May 26, 2009 Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 7 oz bottle - part of a 8-pak mixer of their hiugh gravity beers. Medium orange pour, slightly cloudy - very brief white head. Fairly neutral aroma with a hint of spent grain. Flavor has a touch of booziness to it, a touch of honey, some amaretto accents and not much else.Slightly muddled mouthfeel. Overall, below par.

May 24, 2009 Bottle, courtesy someone. Clear golden yellow pour, some wet lacing and head. Some yeastiness int he nose, cotton candy, banana and clove, some dry grain. Grain and yeast flavors, banana and slight bubblegum. Thick bodied, full of flavor but not too complex. Not bad at all.

May 14, 2009 This was not a good example of what a tripel should be. It was not balanced, with yeast dominating the palate. Eh, I like Flying Dog, but this is one I don’t have an interest in trying again. LC

May 12, 2009 Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Malt and yeast aroma with light spice and light summer fruit. Malt and yeasty flavor with spice. Medium-plus bodied. Spice lingers with malt and yeast. Fairly spicy and yeasty. Finished dry.

May 12, 2009 Bottle, 12oz. It pours a next to clear, golden body under a small, white head. Some banana and a little hops and spices on the nose. Some alcohol evident too. Banana, citrus, some spicey notes and pale malts in the mouth. Quite warm, full-bodied and dry, yet with a sweet impression. Bitter finish. A bit on the sweet side, but I liked it quite a lot. May 9, 2009 7oz bottle at home on May 9, 2009. Has a nice golden orange color, very clear. Lighgt citrus aroma with a grainy citrus flavor. Maybe a little spice. Very clean beer.

May 9, 2009 Orange gold pour with a small white head. Sweet aroma but I couldn’t pick out anything specific. The flavor was much lighter than I expected but it did have a somewhat unique flavor but I’m not sure if that’s the yeast or thinking about it too much.
