Dec 10, 2008 Hazy golden beer out of the bottle with some floaties in it. No head after the initial pour, only tiny bubbles that died weakly on the surface. Thick, sweet nose with some bitter orange rind, spice and hair spray. Noticable alcohol burn with the first sip. Flavors of yeasty bread, orange peel, apricot jam, and alcohol. Spicey finish.

Dec 10, 2008 12 oz bottle - fairly cloudy light orange color with tiny white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma has honey, orange peel, light herbal hops, pear. Flavor has light malts, apricot, sugar cane, heather, lipton tea. Finish is fairly balanced. A bit undercarbonated and underattenuated for the style, but not bad overall.

Dec 6, 2008 2008 vintage. Pours cloudy amber with barely any head. Aromas of yeast and banana esters. Light mouthfeel. Not as carbonated as some attempts at this style. Has a slight spiciness that lingers on the tongue. Slight note of alcohol in the aftertaste.

Dec 6, 2008 Cloudy, deep bronze body with a very thin white head. The aroma is sweet earthy pears with some light notes of cinnamon. There is also a little bit of sweat and leather. The taste has some light pear core and cinnamon spice. There is some decent woody dryness in the finish. Rough to drink.

Dec 3, 2008 Pours a slight hazy golden-orange color with a very thin, fizzy head that dissapears immediately. Aroma of caramel, nut, dark fruit and alcohol. Very bland tasting, wit strong alcohol presence along with some spiciness, apricot, pepper and citrus peel.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours clear gold with no head. Mild carbonation, pilsner-like bitterness plus subtle flavors of banana, bread, and cloves. Pretty sweet as others have noted. Not a bad beer, drinkable if forgetable. Alcohol is well-hidden in the flavor and aroma.

Nov 28, 2008 Belgian Tripel Americanized. Carbonation was low. Too smooth and sugary. Body was heavy. Nothing very memorable. Sweet, low hop character.
